The Webster Review of International History – London
The Webster Review of International History is a student-led journal at the London School of Economics and Political Science. We publish historical research and review blogs on a wide range of historical topics, regions and time periods. Reflecting the global focus of our History department, we prioritise diverse perspectives and aim to broaden our journal’s geographical reach.
Chronolog Student Journal – Copenhagen
Chronolog is a journal for students concerned with the history, culture, archaeology and language of ancient Southwest Asia and Northeast Africa. The focus of the journal is to provide students at the Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies (CCRS) at the University of Copenhagen (UCPH) and students affiliated with the department through conferences or collaborations, the opportunity to have their first scholarly article published in a peer reviewed journal.
Apollon – Fairfield
At Apollon, we strive to publish superior examples of undergraduate humanities research from a variety of disciplines as well as intellectual approaches.
Our goal is to engage students in every stage of the process, beginning with student-faculty collaboration in generating undergraduate scholarship and finishing with the release of a polished digital journal. Apollon strives to take advantage of the unique opportunity of venturing into the digital humanities by engaging with image, text, sound, video, and a variety of presentation platforms in the process of showcasing the many species of undergraduate research.
The Mirror – Ontario
The Mirror is an undergraduate history journal based out of Western University in London, ON. It was founded in 1981. Published annually, each issue features 12 high-quality history essays written by undergraduate students across Canada. The Mirror seeks to publish essays with original, innovative research; essays that take an old topic and spin it on it’s head in new and interesting ways.
Archive – Madison
ARCHIVE is an award-winning journal of history published annually by undergraduate History majors, in partnership with the History Department and the UW-Madison chapter of Phi Alpha Theta. Each spring semester, the editorial board enrolls in History 601: Historical Publishing Practicum, which is taught by the journal’s faculty advisor, and publishes that year’s volume at the end of the semester. ARCHIVE accepts submissions from undergraduate students of all majors and from colleges and universities in the US or abroad. The deadline for submissions is usually in late January or early February. Check out ARCHIVE’s website to view past volumes and find out how you could be published.
